I'm a five year old trapped in the body of a forty-five year old, long-haired reprobate. But I'm not a hippy, as I don't eat mung bean casseroles, believe in ley lines or listen to vast amounts of Steve Hillage. Well, I do listen to Steve Hillage a bit. But the lyrics make me giggle. I'm a lapsed artist, a keen player of keyboards and bass, I write (not professionally, just for my own amusement), take photos, obsess over film, don't take kindly to zealots or bigots and enjoy a good laugh probably more than anything. Apart from doing the nasty, obviously. I'm an incurable romantic and a terrible cynic, usually at the same time. The dichotomy amuses me. And I'm also a pretentious, pseudo-intellectual twat; I must be; because I use semi-colons and the word 'dichotomy'. Oh, and I'm an atheist, but Richard Dawkins gets on my tits. Yes, we know, lay off, mate.

God knows what I'll write here, my day to day activities are so mundane, they could pass for Stephen Fry Twittering. I'll try to be amusing. We'll see. They can only ban you once.

I like all sorts of old crap; film, music, literature (well, lots of S.F. anyway, Martin Amis might quibble about the 'literature' tag. Stuff him, the stuck-up nonce), history, technology, pina coladas, getting caught in the rain (actually, those two are complete lies, I like brandy and staying dry), muff-diving (good lord, can you say that here? Mother would have been outraged. It creates such a bad impression), anything weird and bizarre, Jaffa Cakes, pizza, The Clangers ('Oh! It mustn't do that!') and far too many other things to list here.

Ah yes, I'm now in a relationship with brewhexe, who I've known for years; LiveJournal was responsible for us getting back in touch, so thanks, people!
